Privacy Policy
This policy describes how FieldStack, Inc. ("FieldStack," "we") collects, uses, and shares information about you and your business when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account, take the diagnostic, or contact us, we collect: your name, email, business name, business contact details, and any information you submit through the diagnostic (revenue figures, operational data, narrative responses).
When you become a paying customer, we additionally collect: billing information (processed by Stripe), records of your FSM integrations, customer interaction logs (call transcripts, SMS logs, email logs) generated by the agents we operate on your behalf, and usage analytics about your FieldStack account.
When you visit our website, we collect standard web analytics (IP, browser, pages visited, referrer) via privacy-respecting analytics tools.
2. How we use information
We use information to: (a) provide and improve the FieldStack service, (b) operate the AI agents you have contracted us to run, (c) communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates, (d) protect against fraud and abuse, and (e) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. We do not use your customer data to train AI models. AI processing is performed under enterprise-grade data processing agreements with our subprocessors.
3. Sharing
We share information with subprocessors who help us deliver the service (listed at fieldstack.ai/security). We may share information when required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect our rights and safety.
If FieldStack is acquired or merged, customer data may transfer to the acquirer subject to this policy. We will provide notice and the option to delete your data before any such transfer.
4. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@fieldstack.ai. If you are a resident of California, the EU, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have additional rights including the right to portability and the right to object to processing. We honor these regardless of residency.
5. Retention
We retain account data for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days for export. Customer interaction logs (call recordings, transcripts, SMS) are retained per the terms of your subscription, with default 12-month retention unless otherwise specified. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Security
See fieldstack.ai/security for our security practices. We follow industry-standard controls including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and audit logging.
7. Children
FieldStack is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email and a banner on the site at least 30 days before they take effect.
